Vendor Services
Vendor services are additional paid services a mall can offer to vendors, like a promotional preferred placement of their shop or the vendor’s products.
Currently two promotional placements are available as vendor services, paid featured vendors and paid featured products.
The promotional placement section:
At the promotional placement section you can setup a paid featured vendors and a paid featured products service.
Use the “Yes/No” select boxes to enable or disable a service.
Use the vendors fee field sto set a fee for the service (all fees are in the shop’s default currency)
Use the package time fields to set a period where the promotional placement will be active.
Click on the “Save Changes” button to save your settings.
After a promotion has been bought, it will be automatically activated. The promoted product or vendor will then be displayed at distinct places as featured product or featured vendor.
The mall administrator can also set a vendor or product manually as featured.
After the promotions have been activated, the vendor can buy the product promotion through a link at the product management pages.
Likewise the featured vendor promotion can be bought through the vendor profile pages.
After the promotion period has ended, the products and vendors will automatically be removed as featured.
