The table with the search results offers key information about current and past subscriptions:

Field Description
# This row contains a checkbox, used for manual subscriptions.
Product Title The subscribed product’s name/title. If you click on the product title, the product details page of the subscribed product will be opened.
Order ID The order ID of the subscribed product. If you click on the order ID, the order details page of that order will be opened.
User Name The customer’s name. If you click on the name, the user details page of that user will be opened.

Payment Request Sent This row indicates, if a payment request was send or not (for subscriptions that are managed manually).

For automated subscriptions (PayPal adaptive, AuthorizeNet Recurring, PayPal Payflow Recurring) this row indicates, if a payment was received for the current subscription period, or not.

If a due payment was not received, you will get a link, that will collect the payment (for preapproved payments).
Status / Expire date This row shows, if a subscription is still valid or not and also shows the end date for the current payment period.

The procedure for managing subscriptions varies by the used payment gateway.

Field Description
Automated Payments PayPal Payflow Recurring, AuthorizeNet Recurring
Preapproved Payments PayPal Adaptive
Manual Payments All other payment gateways

a) Automated Payments

Automated payments are fully automated. Payments are executed and managed by the payment gateway itself. No further steps are necessary to collect payments.

b) Preapproved Payments

For preapproved payments, you need to collect the due fees at each period. You can either do this, by clicking the link to collect the payment at the “payment request sent” row, or by setting up a cron job.

c) Manual Payments

With this type of payment, the customer receives an email at each period with a link for a special checkout procedure, to pay for the new period of a subscription. To send out payment emails, select the available products by checking the checkbox at the first row of the list and press the “Send payment request” button.

If the checkbox is “gray” and not checkable, the send payment reminder functionality is not available for this product (products, with a valid subscription, managed through a realtime payment gateway, are usually not selectable for manual payments, they become available after the subscription has ended).
