SMS Notifications
SMS notifications allow you to set up certain automatic notifications through the cellphone short message service or manually send SMS notifications to mobile phone numbers.
Please note: SMS notifications are sent additionally to normal email notifications and are available for certain triggers only. SMS notifications als need the mobile phone number field to be present and used by the customer for an order to send a notification.

The sms notifications settings form is used to configure when to send sms notifications.
The following triggers are available for sms notifications:
| Trigger | Description |

| SMS on order received (admin) | The administrator receives a SMS notification when a customer orders something from the shop. |
| SMS on order completed (customer) | The customer receives a SMS notification when an order is completed. |
| SMS on manual order received (customer) | The customer receives a SMS notification when a manual order is sent to the customer. |
| SMS on due notification (customer) | The customer receives a SMS notification when a payment is due. |
The admin mobile number field, is to set up your own mobile phone number. Typically sms gateways will use the configured number as sender number when a sms notification is sent.
If you don’t want to send any automatic sms notifications, deselect all triggers in the list.
Click on the “Save changes” button to save your settings.
The SMS management form:
The SMS management form is to select the sms gateway you want to use for SMS notifications through the shop.
The following sms providers are currently available:
- Clickatell SMS
- SMS Kaufen
- CardBoardFish SMS
Please note: You need an account at the SMS provider to use any of these services.
Selecting a gateway from this list will automatically set this gateway as active gateway and the shop will use it for any SMS notifications.
Select “Deactivate All Gateways” if you don’t want to use SMS notifications.
Click on the edit icon on the right side of each SMS gateway in the list to edit and setup the selected SMS gateway. The SMS gateway details page will open.
