Feed Settings
The feed settings page is used to configure the product feed access through the frontend API.
The selected vendor section:
To configure or view the site product feed settings for a vendor, choose a vendor from the dropdown list.
The general settings section:
The general settings section is used to configure, if site product feeds are available for the selected vendor and if the vendor’s product data feeds are openly accessible through the API or if users need credentials to access the product feed data.
If the access type is set to open, everyone can access the products data feed, provided they use the access URL. If authentication is used as data access type, only users with authentication credentials can access the products data feeds.
The feed categories section:
The feed categories section can be used to limit the availability of product feeds to products from certain categories. If any categories are set here, only products from the chosen categories are available a a product feed.
The feed URL section:
The feed URL section shows the URL call through which the product feed can be accessed.
Please note: The URL parameters can differ depending on the selected vendor and access settings. If you changed your settings, saving them might be needed to show the current valid URL
Click on the “Update Settings” button to save the settings and update the access URL.
Click on “Configure Data Access” to configure data access users, if an authentication is needed to access a product feed.
