Add a New Custom Shipping Method

The add a new custom shipping method form, allows you to create new global and vendor specific custom shipping methods and set various options.

The add a new custom shipping method section:

New custom shipping methods can be added through the add a new custom shipping method form.

Field Description
Select Vendor Select “Global Settings”, if the realtime shipping method you are adding is globally valid or select a vendor, if the realtime shipping method is only valid for a specific vendor
Carrier Name Set a carrier name for the custom shipping method
Calculation Method The following calculation methods are available:
  • Base + Weight
  • Weight
  • Base + Per item
  • Flat (per item)
  • Price-based
  • Pickup at Store
    • Country Country the shipping method is valid for.

    Select “All Countries”, if the shipping method is valid for all countries
    State/Province The state or province, the shipping method is valid for.

    Leave blank or select “All States/Provinces”, if the shipping method is valid for all states and provinces.
    Post Codes The post codes the shipping method is valid for.

    You can enter multiple post codes by separating them with a comma.

    Leave blank, if all post codes are valid for this shipping method
    Priority The sorting priority for this method
    Active Select, if the method is active or not
    1. Click on the “Add Method” button to add a new custom shipping method.

    After you added a new custom shipping method, you can define any ranges and conditions and shipping prices at the custom shipping method details page.

    1. Click on the “Reset Form” button to reset the form fields.

    2. Click on the “Shipping Management” button, to leave this page and open the shipping management page
