The shipping gateways page allows you to configure the general shipping gateway handling and all available global shipping gateways or vendor specific shipping gateways.
Shipping gateways are necessary to obtain quotes from various shipping providers.
After you configured your shipping gateways, you can use various shipping methods that you can setup at the shipping methods page. Most shipping methods will need a configured gateway before they can be used to obtain a shipping quote.
Please note: Except for preconfigured shipping gateways that don’t need any special access credentials or internal shipping gateways/methods that don’t need to access a third party server to retrieve shipping quotes, all shipping methods require a configured shipping gateway.
To edit your global settings and shipping gateways, leave the select vendor dropdown list at the default “GLOBAL SETTINGS” selection. If you want to check or edit a the gateway settings of a specific vendor, choose a vendor from the dropdown list.
If a vendor was selected, the displayed shipping gateways and settings only affect the selected vendor.
Please note: The shipping gateways listed in this section and the necessary settings and available options for the shipping gateways may change in future releases.
After you updated or changed your settings, you can click on the “Save Changes” button, to save any changes to your global settings or vendor settings.
Click on the “Reset Form” button, to reset the form display to the previous values.
Click on the “Shipping Management” button, to return to the shipping management page.
