Send SMS
The send SMS page is used to manually send SMS messages to mobile phone users.
The send sms form:
Use the send SMS form to send short messages to mobile phone users.
Please note: Sending SMS notifications require a configured and active SMS gateway provider at the SMS notification page.
The following fields are available:
| Field | Description |

| Provider | The currently selected and active SMS gateway provider. |
| Search | The search field will try to match your entered search string to a customer from the user database. Selecting a user from the list of matches will automatically add the user’s phone number to the telephone number field. |
| Telephone number | The mobile phone number you want to send the SMS message to |
| SMS message | Your SMS message. Please note: SMS messages are restricted to 160 characters. Further limitations may arise, depending on your SMS gateway provider |
Click on the “Send” button to send the message to the selected telephone number.
After sending the SMS a message will be displayed, if the SMS message was sent successfully.
