Product Reviews
Product reviews are reviews or products by mall visitors. They are available for all visitors of the shop. Completed transactions are not needed to review a product.
The enable/disable product reviews form:
At the enable/disable product reviews form, you can enable or disable the availability of product reviews at the storefront. You can also auto approve reviews, if you don’t want to manually approved reviews about products.
Please note: Since product reviews can be posted by any visitor of the mall, auto approving reviews might not always be advisable.
The product review search form:
The product review search form allows you to search for specific reviews by review title and or product title.
Click on the “Search” button to search for specific product reviews. The results are displayed in the product reviews list.
The product reviews list:
You can manage the product reviews at the product review list. The list shows detailed information about the posted product reviews, like product title, review title, the reviewer’s name, the review rating, the date the review was posted and if the review is approved, or not.
Only approved reviews are shown at the storefront and are taken into account when calculating the overall product review rating.
By default, reviews are are sorted by date. If you need a different sorting, click on on one of the headers of the list, to sort by product title, review title, the reviewer’s name, the product review rating, the date or by approved/not approved reviews.
- Click on the product title to open the product details page with the reviewed product.
The list also allows you to bulk approve or disapprove reviews. Select the approved checkbox of a review, if you want to approve a product review. If you want to disapprove a product review, deselect it.
After you have done the desired changes, click on the “Save Changes” button to apply these changes to the product reviews in the list.
More functions are available through the icons on the right side of the list.
Click on the delete icon, if you want to delete a review completely.
If you click on the edit icon, the product review details page will open with the review you selected.
