Product Information Request Details

The product information request details page shows the detailed information of a selected request and allows the administrator or vendor to answer the request.

The product info section:

The product info section, shows brief information about the product the customer requested more information for.

A thumbnail of the product is shown, along with the product name, the non numerical product ID, a short description, the basic unit price and the vendor of the product.

The request data section:

The request data section shows the information, the customer submitted.

The following fields are shown:

Field Description
Name The customer’s name as it was submitted through the product information request popup
Email The customer’s email as it was submitted through the product information request popup
Phone The customer’s phone number as it was submitted through the product information request popup
Message The customer’s request message as it was submitted through the product information request popup
Request Date The date the request was sent
Quantity The customer’s quantity as it was submitted through the product information request popup

The answers section:

The answers section shows all the submitted or saved answers and notes.

The following fields are used:

Field Description
Request Date The date the request was sent
Message The saved note or sent message
Sent as eMail This field is set to yes, if the message was sent to the customer through email. It is set to No, if the message was saved as internal note

The answer request/change status section:

The answer request/change status section is used to reply to a customer’s product information request, save an internal note about this request or change the status of the customer’s information request.

The following fields are available:

Field Description
Answer The message to send to your customer through through email or the internal note you want to save for the product information request
Current Status The current request status

The following statuses are shown:
  • Pending
  • Answered
  • Canceled
  • New Status The following statuses are shown:
  • Pending
  • Answered
  • Canceled
  • Send as eMail Select this checkbox, if you want to send a message to your customer through email.

    Uncheck this checkbox, if you want to save an internal note

    Click on the “Save Changes” button to save any changes and/or send a reply to the customer via email.

    Please note: Blank answers are not send via email, no matter if the “Send as eMail” checkbox is selected or not.
