Contact Forms

At the contact forms tab, you can setup all default contact forms available at the storefront. Contact forms refers to all default contact forms, including the individual vendor contact forms.

You can configure most contact form fields at the contact forms tab.

Most contact form fields, that can be configured at the contact form tab have three states, required, not required and not available. Not available items aren’t displayed at all the forms.

The following fields are available for configuration at the contact fields tab:

Field Description
Full Name The customer’s full name, first and last name
Company Name The customer’s company name
Email The customer’s email
Address Line 1 The customer’s first address line
Address Line 2 The customer’s second address line
City The customer’s city
ZIP The customer’s zip or postal code
Country The customer’s country
Message The message the customer wants to send to the mall administration or the vendor.

Several fields have different settings, than required, not required and not available.

The captcha field is used to configure the optional captcha code display at the contact forms. It can be either turned on or off.

Please note: Captcha is a backronym for “Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart” and is typically used to reduce spam mails by requiring the visitor to type in certain characters or numbers before to complete an action.

The form link position is used to configure where the contact us links appear at the storefront, at the top or the bottom.

Please note: This option only affect certain skin templates. Most skin templates and some modules have additional settings to configure, if a contact us link appears at a designated position or not.

Use the send contact us email field, to configure how you want contact us emails to be send as text emails or HTML emails.

Click on the Save Changes button to save all the changes for the contact forms.

The contact custom fields list:

The contact custom fields list, shows an overview of your custom form fields you created for the contact forms.

To edit a form field, click on an item in the list and the custom field details page will open, where you can edit your custom field.

Additional functions are available through the action icons on the right side of each item in the list.

  1. Click on the edit icon to open the selected item in the list at the custom field details page, where you can edit your custom field.

  2. Click on the delete icon, to delete the selected custom form field.

The list also allows to bulk update the active and required field of your custom fields.

  1. Click on the Save Changes button to save any changes on your custom fields.

  2. Click on the Create a New Custom Field button to open the custom field page, where you can create a new custom field for a specific form.
