FAQ Console

The FAQ console helps you in managing recent additions to your FAQ (especially if you are running the FAQ in collaborative mode where users can add their own questions,answers or comments to the FAQ.

The questions tab:

The questions tab show a list with all questions in chronological order with additional information about the question’s author, the date the question was added, the number of answers added to a question, the number of upvotes and the number of reports for a question.

The following fields are shown:

Field Description
ID The ID number of the question
Question The question, the author of the question and the section the question was added to
Click on “see all questions” to open the questions management page
Date The date the question was added
Answers The number of answers created for this question
Votes The number of upvotes this question received
Reports The number of reports submitted for this question
Action Additional functions to manage the FAQ questions in the list.

Several functions to manage your FAQ questions are available at the right side of each list entry.

Click on the edit icon to edit or add answers to the selected FAQ question.

Click on the check icon to clear any reports for the selected FAQ question.

Click on the trash icon to delete the selected FAQ question

Several bulk actions are available for this list, you can bulk delete questions and bulk clear reports for the questions in the list. Just select the list items through the checkbox on the left side of the list and click one of the buttons below.

Click on the “Delete Questions” button to bulk delete several questions at once.

Click on the “Clear Reports” button to bulk clear several reports for questions at once.

Please note: Deleting a question will also delete any answers added to this question and all comments added to any answers for this question

Click on the “FAQ Sections” button to open the FAQ sections management page.

The answers tab:

The answers tab show a list with all answers in chronological order with additional information about the question the answer was added to, the author of the answer, the date the answer was added, the number of upvotes and the number of reports for an answer.

The comments tab show a list with all comments in chronological order with additional information about the comment’s ID, the answer and question the comment was added to,the author of the comment, the date the comment was added and the number of reports for this comment.

The following fields are shown:

Field Description
ID The ID number of the comment
Comment The comment, the author of the comment and the section, the question and the answer the comment was added to Click on “see all comments” to open the comments management page
Click on “see all answers” to open the answers management page
Click on “see all questions” to open the questions management page
Date The date the comment was added
Votes The number of upvotes this comment received
Reports The number of reports submitted for this comment
