eBay Tools
The eBay tools form is used to to retrieve setting lists from eBay and update the local database.

The eBay tools form, shows an overview of the current eBay data stored at the local shop database. Each item shows in brackets how many items are stored for this type of data.
Please note: Since eBay uses large lists for categories, shipping options, payment options, etc. when setting up items for sale, it would not be feasible to retrieve those lists and settings every time an item is listed on eBay. To speed up the whole process, it is therefore necessary (and eBay strongly recommends this) to store these lists and settings at the local shop database and only update them occasionally.
The following options are available (eBay Return Policy Settings):

| Update eBay Country List | Update the local country list for eBay. This only needs to be updated very rarely. |
| Update eBay Currency List | Update the local currency list for eBay. This only needs to be updated very rarely. |
| Update eBay Shipping List – (Services and Carriers) | Update the local shipping carrier and services list used by eBay. This needs to be updated occasionally |
| Update eBay Return Policy List | Update the local return and refunds list used for the eBay preset. This needs to be updated occasionally |
| Update eBay Category List | Update the local category list used for the eBay preset and for the manual category selection when listing an item at eBay. This needs to be updated occasionally |
| Refresh eBay Data | This updates all the above lists at once. |
Please note: These tools are only available for the mall owner
The buttons at the bottom are used throughout all settings tabs:
- Click on the “Save Changes” button to save the settings.
- Click on the “Reset Form” button to reset any changes to the form.
