Coupon Details

You can create new coupons or edit existing coupons at the coupon details page.

The create/update promo code form:

The create/update promo code form is used to create new coupons or update existing coupons.

The following fields are available:

Type Description
Campaign Name The name of the promotional campaign
Promo Codes The actual promo code used by customers during checkout to acquire the discount.
Select Vendor The vendor, the coupon is valid for. Leave the selection at “All”, if the coupon is valid for all vendors.
Active Select, if the coupon code is active or not active. Only active coupons can be used to get a discount or a displayed at distinct places at the storefront, if viewable
Visible Select, if the coupon is visible for customers at distinct places at the storefront
Promo Discount for On Sale Items Select, if the promotion is valid for items, that are currently on sale (have a dedicated on sale price). Global discount and sale prices are not affected by this setting
Coupon Type The coupon type. The following types are available:
  • Global Promo Code
    The promotion and the promo code is global and valid for all products.
  • Product Promo Code
    The promotion and the promo code is only valid for selected products.
  • Primary Category Promo Code
    The promotion and the promo code is only valid for selected products in the selected primary categories.
  • Primary and Secondary Category Promo Code
    The promotion and the promo code is only valid for selected products that are in the selected categories.
    • Selected Products The coupon is only valid for the selected products.

    Please note: This field is only available, if “Product Promo Code” was selected as coupon type. It will display all products the coupon is valid for. The products are entered through the select product IDs field. Select a product in the list and click on remove selected to remove a product from this list
    Select Product IDs This field is used to search for products when “Product Promo Code” was selected as coupon type.

    The software will search for products that match your input and display a popup with the results. Click on a product in the search results list to enter the results into the selected products field list
    Categories The category or categories the coupon is valid for.

    Please note: This field is only available, if “Primary Category Promo Code” or “Primary and Secondary Category Promo Code” was selected as coupon type
    Start Date The start date of the promotion.

    The coupon code won’t be valid before this date.
    End Date The end date of the promotion.

    The coupon code won’t be valid after this date.
    Discounts The actual discount the customer receives when using this coupon code. You can select a percentage or an amount (in the default mall currency)
    Minimum order subtotal for this code The minimum order subtotal the customer needs to have in the cart to apply this coupon code

    1. Click on the “Save Changes” button to save the changes to the coupon or create a new coupon.

    2. Click on the “Delete Coupon” button to delete the current coupon and return to the coupon management page.

    3. Click on the “Manage Coupons” button to return to the coupon management page.
