Category Properties
The category properties offer general settings for categories, like settings for the category name and key, the meta title or meta keywords, the sorting priority, if the category is currently active or not, etc.
The category properties section:
At the category properties section you can set and edit all the general properties of the category.
The following fields are available:
| Field | Description |

| Category Name | The category’s name. This name will show up as category name at the storefront. The category name is language specific. The currently edited language is indicated by the flag on the right side of the field. |
| Category Key | The category’s non numerical ID. The category key is used when bulk uploading products. Please note: Do not use spaces or special characters for category keys. |
| Meta Title | The meta title of the category. Meta title tags define the title of a document and usually appear as header in your browser and as title in your browser tab. They are also used by search engines and by external websites when linking to your page. The meta title is language specific. The currently edited language is indicated by the flag on the right side of the field. |
| Meta Keywords | The meta keyword Meta keywords are language specific. The currently edited language is indicated by the flag on the right side of the field. |
| Priority | The priority of the category. Used for sorting. |
| Is category visible to users | If checked, this category visible/active for customers. Uncheck it, to disable the category for access through customers. |
