The bulk bulk product feed importer page allows you to import products from local or remote product feeds or data files. Imported products are inserted into your shop’s product database.
You can configure the way products are imported with several options, e.g. select the category products are added to, set imported products to active or inactive, modify the original price, set a tax class for the imported products and perform other settings.
The product feed importer supports several fields like title, description, overview, price,product images, etc..
Some of the supported fields are:

| GTIN | The product’s GTIN (Global Trade Identification Number) number |
| Case Pack | The product’s case pack setting |
| Inter Pack | The product’s inter pack setting |
| Product condition | The product’s new or used condition |
| Available Date | The product’s available date |
| Expire Date | The product’s expire date |
| Min Order | The minimum order setting for the product |
| Max Order | The maximum order setting for the product |
| Images | Product Images and image locations |
| Attributes | The product’s attributes |

The shop data format section:

At the shop data format section you can select the data format of the file you want to import.
Make sure to select the correct file format otherwise the importer won’t be able to import the product feed file correctly.
The following data formats are available:

| IXXO Cart Products XML | This format is used by the IXXO Cart site feed products API and the IXXO Cart products feed file exporter. Select this format, if the products you are importing are using the IXXO Cart Products Feed XML file format. |
| skroutz.gr XML | This file format is used to by product files uploaded to shops for the skroutz.gr price comparison site. Select this format. If the products you are importing are using the skroutz.gr XML file format. |
The general settings section:

At the general settings section you can set a category where products with undefined or not used categories are moved when importing the data file. You can also set the vendor for the products and a language that will be used, if no other language is specified in the data file.
The following fields are available:

| Vendor | Allows to select you a vendor for the imported products. Imported products are assigned to the selected vendor. |
| Category | Select the category imported products are assigned to |
| Language | Select the language of the imported products. |
Please note: Some options may not be supported by a product feed and will then be used as default setting for imported products.
The shop data modifiers section:

The shop data modifiers section allows you to alter the way products are imported and offers additional options to modify the original price or set extra fields for the imported products.
The following fields are available:

| Default Tax Class | Defines the tax class that will be used for imported products. |
| Price Upsale Modifier | The price of imported products wil be modified with this setting. This is especially useful when reselling products imported from another shop. You can set a percentage or a price amount to increase the price in the product feed. |
| Products are active | Defines, if imported products are set to active or inactive. If you want to check your imported products before they are available for sale on your shop, you should set imported products as not active. |
| Update Rule | Select, if all products from the product feed are imported into your product database or only products, that are not yet included in your product database. Available options are:
When matching products, the product_id from the product feed will be compared with the product_id in your shop database. |
The file with products section:

You can either choose to upload a local file from your computer or set a remote URL for a file on a website or a file served through an API.
Click on the “Import Products” button to initiate the product import.
If the product feed imported is successful, a list with the products from the product feed file or feed URL will be shown, otherwise an error message will appear.

After the product import was successfully initiated a list with all the products from the product feed is shown.
The list shows basic information for each product like product name and product ID and product price.
This product list allows shop owners to choose only the products that they want in their own product database. Select a product by using the checkbox on the left side of each product.
Click on the “Update Product Database” button the to import the selected products and add them to your product database.
Click on the “Cancel Import” button to cancel the product import.
