Manage Booking Properties

At the manage booking properties page, you can setup and manage the booking products special properties.

Please note: The product’s booking properties are preset when a booking product is created but can be changed afterwards.

The product info section:

The product info section shows basic information about the product, like the product name and the numerical product ID.

You can also assign a service type (booking tag) to this booking product/service.

Booking tags are generally used to categorize the type of service and can be used to search for a specific service type at the frontend through designated modules.

The general availability section:

The general availability section is used to defined a date range during which the booking product is available. You can define an end and a start date.

Please note: The general availability section only defines, if a product is available for booking during the set time frame. The product will still appear at the storefront at earlier and later dates.

The monthly availability section:

The monthly availability section allows you to setup at what months your service is available.

Simply check the checkbox to make the service available for a certain month; deselect a checkbox, if the service is not available during that month.

The monthly availability is usually used for seasonal services.

The weekly availability section:

The weekly availability section allows you to setup at what days and during what times your service is available.

Simply check the checkbox to make the service available for a certain day of the week; deselect a checkbox, if the service is not available at that day of the week

You can further refine the daily availability by setting a start and a end time for your service.

The units section:

The units section allows you to define how many minutes each unit lasts. The available time from the weekly availability will then be split into several slots according to the unit length.

e.g.: If your service requires 60 minutes to perform, you would usually set the unit minutes to 60.

The slots section:

The slots section allows you to define how many slots are available for a time unit. This allows you to offer a booking product/bookable service several times for the same time slot.

e.g.: If you have 5 employees who can perform the offered job, you can set the slots to 5. Each time slot can then be booked 5 times.
