API User Details
You can create new API user accounts or edit existing API user accounts at the API user details page.
The update/create API user form.
The update/create API user form is used to create new API user accounts or to edit existing API user accounts.
The following fields are available:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| ID | The internal user ID. This ID is assigned automatically and can’t be changed. |
| Username | The API account username. This username must be unique. If the username is already used when you create a new API user account, the shop will alter the new username. |
| Select Vendor | If a vendor is selected, the API user can only access certain vendor specific API functions. Only non vendor API user accounts have access to all functions. |
| Active | Select, whether the user account is currently active or not. |
| Host/IP | If a Host IP is set, the API user will only be able to connect through this IP address. If you want the API user to be able to access from other locations, leave this field blank. |
| Token | If a Token is set, the API user needs to specify this token alongside the username and password to connect to the API. This is an additional security measure to counter brute force attacks. |
| Password | The access password |
Click on the “Save Changes” button to save the changes to an existing API user account or to create a new user account.
Click on the “API Users” button to open the API users page.
